About the Professional Committee of Art Galleries

The Professional Committee of Art Galleries ensures for its members, gallery owners of the first or second market, from antique dealers to contemporary art galleries, a union role of information, advice and defense of common interests with the competent authorities. It promotes the central role of galleries in the artistic and cultural environment by relying on their specificities, their expertise, their work to promote artists or artistic trends. The Committee thus maintains long-term relationships with all private and public actors in the art world. For several years, it has been involved in major cultural events in order to build a better visibility of art galleries, true partners of artistic creation. The Professional Committee of Art Galleries also works to develop the French art scene internationally.
